Fantasy World of Cruising

With all the technology we have in the world, life is supposed to be easier, but I see the world as very fast paced.  With work, school, extra curricular activities, sports, facebook, family,  grocery shopping,  laundry, we get so caught up in the fast paced world that sometimes we wish that we could escape, even if only for a week. I have found that temporary escape in travel, particularly on a cruise ship. On a cruise you can be attended to as though you are a celebrity or royalty. Don’t believe me… come check it out.

Through the world of cruising you can be … Jacques Cousteau exploring underwater sea life… Feel like a Humphrey Bogart (African Queen) on a journey up river to explore the deep jungle… An Egyptian Pharaoh admiring his final resting place in a Pyramid. You can climb waterfalls in Jamaica or explore on the surface of ancient glaciers in Alaska. The list never seems to end. What ever your dream may be, it can come true even if it is to ring the bell at the top of the rock climbing wall.

While on the ship you can feel like royalty having your stateroom serviced at least twice a day and service is available 24/7.   The dining room has numerous people waiting on you and on occasion may know your food preference and serve you before you even place an order. You can relax on a deck  chair to enjoy a movie under the stars , have someone bring you popcorn and ask “Is there anything else I can get you”. You can dance all night, sleep til noon, play bingo, or try your luck on the roulette wheel.  Wanna relax by the pool, get a massage or just sunbathe? Read a good book or visit with people from all over. Take a dance class or a pilates class.  Get on the treadmill or get an ice cream. You never have to worry  about where you are going to eat next and you only have to unpack once. Wake up to a new place to explore or relax on the beach. It’s up to you.

As you can see, there are lots of opportunities to escape the real world and enter the world of fantasy, if only for a week.  So what are you waiting for?
