The first rule of International Travel is to make sure you have all the proper documents. Remember you may be able to enter your destination country but will you have the proper identification to return home. Another important item is to learn about your destination. Learning just a few basic phrases in the local language makes getting around easier and the local residents will respect you more as a guest.

Documentation for International Travel
